How I Make Sourdough Bread Every Day In LESS Than 30 Minutes.

Sourdough bread is typically a time-consuming process that involves fermentation and proofing over several hours or even days. However, if you want to make sourdough bread quickly, you can try the following method that takes less than 30 minutes. Keep in mind that this will yield a more simplified version of sourdough with less fermentation and flavor development compared to traditional methods.

Ingredients:

2 cups of all-purpose flour (or bread flour)

1 cup of active sourdough starter

1 teaspoon of salt

1/2 cup of warm water (approximately 110°F or 43°C)

Instructions:

Prepare the Dough (10 minutes):

In a mixing bowl, combine the active sourdough starter and warm water. Mix well until the starter is fully dissolved in the water.

Add the flour and salt to the starter mixture.

Mix everything together until you have a shaggy dough.

Knead the Dough (5 minutes):

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface.

Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic. You can use the "stretch and fold" technique if you prefer.

Shape the Dough (5 minutes):

Shape the dough into a round or oval loaf.

Place the dough on a piece of parchment paper for easy transfer.

Preheat the Oven (5 minutes):

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C) with a Dutch oven or a heavy oven-safe pot inside. You want both the oven and the pot to be fully preheated.

Final Rise (3-5 minutes):

Allow the shaped dough to rest and rise on the parchment paper for 3-5 minutes while your oven and pot preheat. This is a very short rise compared to traditional sourdough.

Bake (15-20 minutes):

Carefully remove the hot pot from the oven.

Lift the parchment paper with the dough and place it inside the hot pot.

Cover the pot with its lid and place it back in the oven.

Bake for about 15-20 minutes with the lid on.

Finish Baking (5 minutes):

Remove the lid from the pot and continue baking for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.

Cool (10 minutes):

Remove the bread from the pot and let it cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

While this method allows you to make sourdough bread quickly.
